Dr. Otsuka is a member of the Colorado Medical Society and the Rocky Mountain Oncology Society.

Education & Background

Dr. Otsuka received his medical doctorate from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Colorado Medical Center. He also completed a special fellowship at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Otsuka is the recipient of a two-year research grant from the Leukemia Society. His research began with colony stimulating factors, known as Neupogen or Leukine, which have become a pivotal supportive treatment for cancer patients.
