Marie Klish, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Klish specializes in radiation oncology and has practiced at RMCC since 2009. She is the medical director of the Hope Cancer Care Center at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colorado. Dr. Klish graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her medical doctorate there as well. She completed her residency training in radiation oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the Cancer Treatment and Research Center in San Antonio, Texas, where she served as chief resident.

Before joining RMCC, Dr. Klish worked as a radiation oncologist at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado, and as a consulting radiation oncologist at Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. Although Dr. Klish is involved in clinical research, her primary focus is clinical practice. She has special interest in head and neck, lung, breast and prostate cancer.

Dr. Klish’s priorities as a physician are compassionate care, maintaining her patient’s dignity and providing the most progressive treatments available. She educates patients and their loved ones about their radiation treatment options to empower each person to make the best decision for themselves.
