Paul A. DeCarolis, M.D.


Dr. DeCarolis practices at RMCC’s Colorado Springs location where he serves as the stem cell transplant director.


Dr. DeCarolis enjoys the outdoors, spending leisure time gardening, hiking and playing golf. He and his wife, Jerri, reside in Colorado Springs with their two young sons.

Education & Background

Dr. DeCarolis received a BS at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. He went on to earn his medical doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a three-year internal medicine residency, followed by a three-year hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. Dr. DeCarolis is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.


Before joining RMCC, Dr. DeCarolis served as clinical instructor in the medicine, hematology division and clinical assistant professor of medicine in the division of hematology/oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
