William E. Daniel, M.D.


Before joining RMCC, Dr. Daniel was president of Colorado Radiation Oncology and medical director at the Medical Center of Aurora. He has a particular interest in the use of three-dimensional computed treatment planning simulation to increase the precision and effectiveness of radiation therapy.



Dr. Daniel is the author of numerous papers on the use of radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer. He is a member of many organizations, including American College of Radiology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Education & Background

Dr. Daniel received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency at the Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, where he served as chief resident.
