About Muath Dawod, MD
Dr. Dawod is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist in Pueblo and La Junta. Since 2013, he has been practicing in Colorado. He has a multispecialty cancer practice with a special interest in patients with blood and gastrointestinal cancers. This includes Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, and pancreatic cancer. He takes part in a multidisciplinary tumor board with pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and other subspecialties. In presenting and consulting on cancer cases with other highly trained physicians, a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan can be made for his patients. He offers clinical trials and research to his patients as part of their cancer treatment plan.

This can be delivered by listening to them, addressing their concerns, and spending enough time explaining all aspects of care.
