About Sara Robinson, MD

Dr. Sara Robinson is a board-certified medical oncologist. As a partner in Rocky Mountain Breast Specialists, her practice has a strong emphasis in breast cancer. She also has an interest in other cancers specific to females, such as gynecological cancers like ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers. Dr. Robinson is passionate about her patients’ care and strives to stay constantly up-to-date in the latest research findings to improve treatments. As a member of the US Oncology Network she has access to clinical trials, which are critical to the advancement of cancer treatments, and encourages many of her patients to participate.

Dr. Robinson has a special passion for treating all types of breast cancer including: hormone-positive breast cancer, HER2-positive breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer, and triple-negative breast cancer.

Dr. Robinson works closely with a team of surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists in a collaborative tumor board setting to create a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs. During these twice-weekly meetings she and these other specialists review new cancer cases and collectively come to the most conclusive treatment decision based on their expertise. This gives Dr. Robinson’s patients complete faith that their care plan is the best treatment option available to them.
