What Our Financial Counselors Can Help You With

Insurance Questions

Our financial counselors are trained and knowledgeable about insurance benefits and reimbursements, including Medicaid and Medicare for cancer treatments and services. Prior to your treatment, you will meet to discuss what your insurance company will or will not cover and to help you set up financial arrangements. Additional insurance information and access to update any changes in insurance coverage can be found at the link below.

Assistance Programs

For patients whose insurance coverage is inadequate, or the insurance company chooses not to cover services, our financial counselors can help identify assistance programs that may offer support in meeting financial obligations. If you begin to experience financial difficulties, they can assist you with financial or insurance issues and resources. For treatment patients using commercial insurance, many drug manufacturers offer copay assistance cards. Ask your financial counselor for details.

Billing Questions

If you need help or have any questions about your bill or payment, we're here to help. Our Patient Focus and Self-Pay team will be your main point of contact for any billing questions or concerns throughout treatment.

Cost Estimates

Your financial counselor will provide a cost estimate of your out-of-pocket expense once a treatment plan has been determined by you and your physician.

Please don’t hesitate to ask for what you need. Your Patient Financial Counselor is an important member of your care team and you should contact him or her with any financial questions or concerns you may have during your time with Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers.
