Patient Care Philosophy
My passion for cancer care started when I had a clinical rotation on a Bone Marrow Transplant unit during nursing school and continued to grow during my five years as a hematology/oncology nurse. My goal as a nurse practitioner is to educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options, as I want them to feel confident in the decisions they make regarding their plan of care. I strive to build a collaborative, trusting relationship with my patients. I believe in patient-centered care and treating the whole patient, including physical, mental, and emotional health.
